Breath test could spot breast cancer without needles
NCT ID NCT06499077
First seen May 15, 2026 ยท Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive way to detect breast cancer by analyzing the chemicals in a person's breath. Researchers will compare breath samples from 1000 women, some with breast cancer and some without, to see if the breath profiles can accurately tell the two groups apart. If successful, this could lead to a simple, painless screening tool for breast cancer.
