First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a quick breast MRI can find cancers that mammograms might miss in Black women with dense breast tissue. About 500 African American women who had a normal mammogram in the past year will get a fast MRI scan. The goal is to see if this extra screening detects more cancers early and reduces false alarms.
