First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special nerve block (called a rhomboid intercostal block) can reduce pain and the need for opioid painkillers after breast implant surgery. About 40 women will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block plus standard anesthesia or standard anesthesia alone. The main goal is to see how much pain medication they use in the first 24 hours after surgery.
