Could a common antibiotic help stop breast cancer from coming back?
NCT ID NCT05114720
Summary
This large, completed study tested whether adding the antibiotic moxifloxacin to standard chemotherapy after breast cancer surgery helps keep the cancer from returning. It involved 559 patients who had surgery for operable breast cancer. The goal was to see if this combination improves survival without the cancer coming back, compared to chemotherapy plus a placebo.
