New AI-Powered device aims to help surgeons get all the cancer out
NCT ID NCT07459062
Summary
This study is testing a new device called the SPCTRone system. It is designed to help surgeons see during an operation if they have removed all the cancerous tissue from the breast. The goal is to train the device's AI to be as accurate as a lab test, potentially reducing the need for repeat surgeries. The study will involve 100 adults with breast cancer who are scheduled for breast-conserving surgery.
