Summary
This study tested two different radiation schedules in 60 women with early breast cancer who had breast-conserving surgery. One group received a shorter, more intense course (5 sessions over 1 week), while the other received a standard shorter course (15 sessions over 3 weeks). The goal was to compare skin side effects, breast appearance, and cancer control over 2 years.
