NCT ID NCT00893061
First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at how different hormone therapies affect memory in postmenopausal women with breast cancer. 44 women were randomly assigned to take either an aromatase inhibitor (letrozole, anastrozole, or exemestane) or tamoxifen citrate. The main goal was to measure changes in verbal memory after 6 months of treatment. This was a phase 3 trial, meaning it was a late-stage study to compare the effects of these standard treatments.
