New imaging tracks breast Cancer's inner workings

Summary
This study tests a new PET/CT scan that uses a tracer called 18F-FluorThanatrace to measure PARP-1 activity in breast cancer tumors. About 50 adults with known or suspected breast cancer will get one or two scans. The goal is to see how well the scan detects cancer activity and compares with lab tests, not to treat the disease.
