New dosing strategy aims to ease hormone therapy side effects for breast cancer patients

NCT ID NCT05754528

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether starting hormone therapy every other day for a month before switching to daily dosing helps patients tolerate it better and stay on track. About 240 adults with early-stage hormone-sensitive breast cancer will be randomly assigned to either standard daily dosing or the gradual schedule. The goal is to see if the new approach improves medication adherence and reduces side effects.
