Scientists search for clues in breast Cancer's resistance to treatment
NCT ID NCT02022202
Summary
This study aimed to understand why some breast cancers are destroyed by standard chemotherapy while others are not. Researchers analyzed tumor tissue and blood samples from 140 patients with early-stage breast cancer who were receiving standard chemotherapy before surgery. The goal was to identify genetic changes in tumors that could explain treatment response and help guide the development of better future therapies.
