First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding trastuzumab to standard chemotherapy before surgery helps shrink breast tumors more effectively. About 92 women with early-stage breast cancer (some HER2-positive, some HER2-negative) took part. The goal was to see if the combination reduces the amount of tissue that needs to be removed and improves response rates.
