Summary
This study aimed to create a personalized 3D computer model of the breast to help surgeons better understand where tumors are located and plan incisions. Researchers measured skin elasticity and thickness in 200 women, and performed additional MRI scans in different positions for 10 of them. The goal was to improve the accuracy of the model by including skin properties. This was an observational study, not a treatment.
