Summary
This study aimed to find out how many Brazilian adults with risk factors actually have chronic kidney disease. Researchers used a quick finger-prick test at local clinics to screen over 8,400 people across the country. People with abnormal results were referred for more detailed lab tests and specialist evaluation to see if they needed care.
