Summary
This study aimed to find out how many adults in Brazil with risk factors like diabetes or high blood pressure might have undiagnosed chronic kidney disease. Researchers used a quick finger-prick test at local clinics to screen over 8,400 people across the country. People with abnormal results were referred for follow-up lab tests and a specialist evaluation.
