Mind over seizures: brain training trial offers new hope for Tough-to-Treat epilepsy
NCT ID NCT07356661
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain training technique called neurofeedback can help reduce seizures in adults with drug-resistant epilepsy. Participants will learn to self-regulate their brain activity using real-time feedback from an EEG. The goal is to see if this training can lower seizure frequency and improve quality of life compared to a sham (placebo) training.
