Mind over seizures: brain training trial offers new hope
NCT ID NCT07356661
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain training technique called neurofeedback can help reduce seizures in adults with epilepsy that doesn't respond to medication. Participants will use real-time brainwave feedback to try to learn to control their brain activity. The goal is to see if this training lowers seizure frequency and improves quality of life compared to a sham (fake) training.
