Scientists scan brains to unlock why we feel too tired to try
NCT ID NCT04041154
Summary
This study aims to understand how our brains decide when a task feels 'too hard' or 'worth the effort.' Researchers will use brain scans and simple choice games with healthy adults to see how physical and mental fatigue change these decisions. The goal is to build basic knowledge about motivation, which may one day help people who struggle with low drive or energy.
