Scientists scan brains to unlock why we feel too tired to try
NCT ID NCT04041154
Summary
This research study aims to understand how our brains decide when a task feels too hard or worth the effort, especially when we're tired. Researchers will use brain scans and simple choice games with 185 healthy adults to see which brain areas are involved. The goal is to build basic knowledge about motivation, which could one day help people who struggle with severe lack of motivation.
