First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether combining a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique (high-definition transcranial direct current stimulation) with computer-based cognitive training is feasible for people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Eight participants completed 15 sessions over three months. The main goal was to see if people would agree to and finish the treatment, not to prove it works.
