NCT ID NCT06155682

First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This pilot study tests whether a type of brain stimulation called repetitive TMS can increase natural inhibition in the brain's motor area. Researchers will measure changes in brain activity and thinking in 34 people with schizophrenia. The goal is to understand how brain inhibition relates to cognitive function, not to provide a treatment.
