Zapping the brain to sharpen the mind in schizophrenia

Summary

This study tests whether a type of brain stimulation called repetitive TMS can increase natural brain inhibition in 34 people with schizophrenia. The goal is to see if this change relates to better thinking and memory. Participants will receive five days of treatment and undergo brain scans and cognitive tests.
