Brain zaps for OCD: new study tests feasibility, not cure
NCT ID NCT07419009
First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation can help people with OCD shift their behavior more flexibly. It will include 12 adults with OCD and healthy volunteers. The main goal is to see if the study procedures are practical and acceptable, not to test if the stimulation actually works.
