Summary

This study looks at how electrical brain stimulation (ECS) affects the brain during surgeries for epilepsy or brain tumors. Researchers want to understand how ECS changes brain cell activity and how it affects speech and language areas. About 65 adults having brain surgery will do simple tasks like reading or naming pictures. The goal is to make surgeries shorter and safer in the future.
