Summary
This study is testing whether electrical stimulation of the front part of the brain can help people with severe depression that hasn't improved with other treatments. Participants will have a small device surgically implanted, similar to a pacemaker, which delivers mild electrical pulses. The goal is to see if this stimulation can meaningfully reduce depression symptoms and provide long-term relief for people who have exhausted other options.
