Zapping the blues away? brain stimulation trial targets mild depression
NCT ID NCT07319143
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help improve mood, motivation, and emotional regulation in young adults (aged 18-35) experiencing mild depressive symptoms. Researchers will compare real stimulation to a sham (placebo) treatment over two weeks to see if it makes a difference. The goal is to find a new way to ease symptoms for people who feel down but don't have a clinical depression diagnosis.
