Gentle brain zaps tested to lift mood in young adults
NCT ID NCT07319143
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help improve mood and emotional regulation in young adults experiencing mild depressive symptoms. Researchers will compare real stimulation to a placebo-like sham treatment to see if it reduces depressive feelings and increases motivation. Participants will receive 10 brief stimulation sessions over two weeks and complete follow-up assessments for three months.
