Zapping the brain to boost memory?
NCT ID NCT05448768
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called theta-burst stimulation (TBS) can improve thinking and memory in people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Researchers will give 80 participants two weeks of daily TBS sessions and measure changes in their cognitive test scores and brain activity. The goal is to see if this treatment helps symptoms and to understand how it might work in the brain.
