Zapping the brain to boost memory after a stroke

Summary
This study tests a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation method (tACS) to see if it can improve working memory in people who have trouble thinking after a stroke. Twenty-four adults who had a stroke 1-6 months ago will receive either real or fake stimulation for 40 minutes daily over 5 days. Researchers will measure memory, thinking speed, and brain activity before and after treatment to see if the real stimulation helps more than the fake one.
