First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at language problems in people with Lewy body disease (like Parkinson's or dementia with Lewy bodies) who also have mild cognitive impairment. Researchers will first compare how these individuals understand sentences versus healthy older adults. Then, they will test a home-based, noninvasive brain stimulation treatment designed to improve sentence comprehension. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to ease language difficulties and improve quality of life.
