Brain zaps tested to ease fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT03371225
Summary
This study tested whether a combination of brain stimulation and exercise could help reduce pain in people with fibromyalgia. Researchers enrolled 116 adults with fibromyalgia to compare different combinations of brain stimulation and exercise over four weeks. The goal was to see if these non-drug treatments could improve the body's natural pain control system.
