Zapping depression? new brain stimulation study seeks answers
NCT ID NCT07191392
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called Temporal Interference Stimulation (TIS) can improve memory and reduce symptoms in people with depression. Researchers will compare 30 patients receiving either real or sham TIS treatment to 30 healthy individuals. The main goals are to see if the treatment helps with remembering associations and lowers scores on standard depression and physical symptom questionnaires.
