Major trial challenges 'No-Surgery' rule for deadliest brain bleeds

Summary
This study aims to find the best treatment for a life-threatening type of brain bleed in the brain stem. It will compare a precise, minimally invasive surgery to drain the blood clot against standard medical care alone. The goal is to see if the surgery leads to better recovery and less disability for 300 severely affected patients.
