Major trial challenges the 'No-Go Zone' for brain surgery

NCT ID NCT07300501

Summary

This major study aims to find the best treatment for severe, life-threatening bleeds in the brain stem. It will compare a precise, minimally invasive surgery to drain the blood clot against standard medical care alone. The goal is to see if surgery leads to better recovery and less disability for 300 eligible patients across China.
