New brain scan could reveal hidden clues in dementia
NCT ID NCT05456503
Summary
This study is testing a new type of brain scan to see if it can better detect and track the progression of different forms of dementia. Researchers will compare brain images from people with Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal lobar degeneration, and healthy individuals. The goal is to see if this scan can help doctors better understand these diseases and predict how they might affect a person's thinking and daily function over time.
