New study aims to detect brain cancer before symptoms start in breast cancer patients

Summary

This study looks at whether brain scans and spinal fluid tests can find early signs of brain cancer in people with HER2-positive breast cancer. The goal is to catch and treat brain metastases before they cause symptoms. About 9 participants with stage II, III, or IV HER2+ breast cancer will be tested.
