First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a treatment that teaches parents how to help their anxious children actually changes brain activity related to anxiety. Researchers measured anxiety levels in 214 children before and after 12 weeks of parent-based therapy. The goal was to see if changes in the brain were linked to reduced anxiety symptoms.
