First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a new, non-invasive treatment called transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS) that uses low-intensity magnetic pulses on key brain areas. Researchers will compare changes in thinking and brain function between 10 healthy older adults and 10 people with mild dementia. The goal is to see if TPS can safely improve memory and other cognitive skills.
