First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new, non-invasive treatment called transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS) that uses gentle magnetic pulses on key brain areas. Researchers want to see if it can improve memory and thinking in 10 healthy older adults and 10 people with mild dementia. Participants will receive either real or sham (fake) pulses, and their brain function will be measured before and after.
