Brain cancer trial tests radiation methods to protect memory while fighting tumors
NCT ID NCT07481786
Summary
This study compares two different radiation approaches for adults with lung cancer that has spread extensively to the brain. Researchers want to see which method is better at controlling brain tumors while also protecting patients' memory and thinking abilities. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either targeted radiation with a drug (bevacizumab) or a specialized whole-brain radiation technique designed to spare memory areas.
