Summary

This early-phase study tests an oral drug called ropidoxuridine (IPdR) given alongside whole brain radiation for people whose cancer has spread to the brain. The goal is to see if the drug can make radiation work better by sensitizing tumor cells, while checking for side effects. Eleven participants with various cancers and brain metastases are enrolled.
