New brain mapping could make tumor surgery safer

Summary

This study tests a new way to map important brain areas during tumor surgery. Researchers will use a special grid to record brain activity while patients move or speak. The goal is to see if this method helps surgeons avoid damaging areas that control movement and speech. About 75 adults with brain tumors will take part.
