NCT ID NCT05384353
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at how well a new type of brain scan (PET) can tell apart different memory and thinking disorders, including Alzheimer's disease, frontotemporal degeneration, Lewy body dementia, and some psychiatric conditions. Researchers compared the new scan to a standard one to see which is better at identifying each disorder. 134 adults took part, and the goal was to learn more about brain changes and how they relate to symptoms.
