Summary
This study tested a special type of MRI (resting-state fMRI) to see if it could better assess brain function in people with disorders of consciousness, such as coma. Researchers aimed to improve diagnosis and predict recovery more accurately than standard bedside exams. The study enrolled 9 adults and was terminated early.
