Summary
This study tested whether advanced MRI scans could better predict recovery in patients with disorders of consciousness, such as coma. Researchers scanned 9 adults with brain injuries from trauma, cardiac arrest, or stroke. The goal was to see if brain network activity could reveal hidden signs of recovery potential not visible in standard exams.
