New imaging study peers inside tumors to map oxygen and blood supply

Summary

This study is testing whether advanced PET and MRI scans can better measure oxygen levels, blood flow, and metabolism in high-grade brain tumors and cervical cancers. About 20 adults with newly diagnosed or recurrent tumors will receive two types of scans. No treatment is given; the goal is to improve understanding of tumor biology.
