First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at brain activity related to non-motor symptoms like attention and thinking in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will record brain surface signals during routine deep brain stimulation surgery. About 140 participants who are already scheduled for surgery will take part. The goal is to better understand these symptoms, not to test a new treatment.
