Scientists search for a brain 'Fingerprint' to power future mental health tech
NCT ID NCT05592600
Summary
This study aimed to see if a simple, portable EEG headset could measure the same complex brain activity as an expensive MRI machine. Researchers recorded brain activity from 24 healthy adults using both devices while they did attention tasks. The goal is to gather knowledge to help build future, more accessible tools for conditions like depression or ADHD, but this study did not test any treatments.
