Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with Parkinson's disease suddenly freeze while walking. Researchers will record brain activity from implanted deep brain stimulation devices as participants walk in virtual reality. The goal is to identify brain signals linked to freezing episodes, which could lead to better treatments. The study involves 36 adults with Parkinson's who already have these brain implants.
