First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares the safety of two methods to access the brachial artery in the arm for treating peripheral artery disease (PAD). About 246 adults who need this procedure will be randomly assigned to either a needle puncture through the skin or a small surgical cut. The goal is to see which approach causes fewer complications at the access site.
