Arm access showdown: which method is safer for artery treatment?

Summary
This study compares two methods of accessing the brachial artery in the arm for treating blocked leg arteries. About 246 adults will be randomly assigned to either a needle-based (percutaneous) or a small cut-down (open) approach. The goal is to see which method causes fewer complications at the access site.
